Installation with Australian Monitor and Beyerdynamic at Kiriakidis Studies Institution in Athens

A beautiful and good working installation

Kyriakides Studies is a new educational institution in Alimos area of Athens, that its goal is to provide innovative educational services. The institution is located in a modern building that combines the comforts and facilities needed by students and teachers to achieve the best educational results. At the ground floor is a beautiful, bright room used for conferences and seminars, surrounded by a beautiful library and restrooms. In this room and the surrounding areas the experienced a company Image Works, which works closely with our company, ordered to install an audio-visual system, to support the conferences and seminars organized by the managers of schools .

The system relied on Australian Monitor and Beyerdynamic equipment. In the main hall was used ceiling speakers RF-4 from the series Rapid Fit, that are easy to install and have  good sound. In the surrounding areas, were used in ceiling speakers series Quick Fit QF-5, that they have very good response even at low frequencies and a stronger sound imposed by the height difference. All speakers were led to two amplifiers AMIS 60, who was getting a signal from a digitally controlled analog system matrix Digi Page Jr, which allows the control of signals from microphones and other audio sources and the sharing of the different areas of the site. Inside the hall, for the reception of the voice of the teachers and participants, used a small conference system MCS-20 from Beyerdynamic, with one presidents and three delegates microphones which were placed in the central panel.

Because of the particularity of the area, Image Works ordered to place a camera that films in real time the teachers of the conference or the seminar and will run in two LCD screens that will be placed outside the hall. The aim was during large conferences or seminars people that could not sit in the room could monitor through the LCD screens. So they used the new AV switching amplifier IN400 from Australian Monitor, that was connected to a ceiling  camera with remote control and zoom, while the same switching amplifier can accept at any time various other signals from DVD players or laptops.

The operating and aural result was very satisfactory. Uniform and clear sound at all sites, while the picture was controlled and clearly visible to all screens. Equally important, however, and you can view that at the accompanying photos, was the excellent aesthetic result of the installation, since the speakers were very nice and very discreetly placed at all sites.
